Women In Black History-Day 2

Day 2 of the smallest month of the year. The one month that was given to celebrate Black History and that most of us only recognize and talk about Black History.

Now, I don't want to take away from our Women In Black History like Maya Angelou, Rosa Parks, Coretta Scott King. These are definitely GREAT women. But my goal this month is to introduce women that they don't teach us about in the schools. Or that are kids are too lazy or not informed enough to do research on.

With that, Day 2 is about Sally Hemings. Sally was a slave and said mistress of Thomas Jefferson and mother of several of his children.
